Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will be in Azerbaijan on a working visit on 27-28 February. Maria Zakharova, the Official Representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, informed.

“The visit is on the occasion of the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration on Allied Interaction between the Russian Federation and Azerbaijan. A meeting of the Russian Foreign Minister with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev is planned, as well as negotiations with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeihun Baryamov,” Zakharova said.

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry added that during the visit special attention will be paid to the process of implementation of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.
