The Minister of Defense of Russia, Sergiy Shoigu, together with the heads of the defense agencies of the SCO member states and the CIS member states, laid flowers at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow’s Alexander Garden.

The participants of the ceremony honored the memory of the soldiers who died in the Great Patriotic War with a minute of silence. The ceremony ended with a solemn march of the “Guard of Honor” squad.
Heads of Defense Departments of 9 countries arrived in Moscow to participate in the meeting of the Heads of Defense Agencies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and CIS member states. International and regional security issues will be discussed during the meeting.
