Former human rights defender Arman Tatoyan published a video, noting that the house of a peaceful resident of Verishen village in Syunik region of Armenia was destroyed as a result of targeted armed attack by Azerbaijan this night.
“This is a house of a peaceful resident of Armenia’s Syunik province Verishen village; it was destroyed by the Azerbaijani targeted armed attack this night.
Azerbaijan hit the village with rockets at 01:20 at night, as civilians claimed: the first 1 rocket hit the house directly, 2 rockets fell directly next to the house. At the time of the attack, the residents were at home and survived only by a miracle.
Facts confirm that there is no military unit or military establishment within kilometers of the house.
This is an obvious war crime committed with the aim of killing people and destroying the civilian community.
International community must respond appropriately to prevent Azerbaijani crimes and genocidal policies.”

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia informs that on 13 September, around 00:05, units of the Azerbaijani armed forces, using artillery, mortars and UAVs, opened intense fire at the Armenian positions located in several parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at once.
In particular, the positions located in the direction of Sotk, Vardenis, Goris, Kapan, Artanish and Ishkhanasar were shelled. Civilian infrastructures are also being attacked.
