“It is necessary to build the foundations of agreements for the meeting between the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky,” Dmitry Peskov the Press Secretary of the Russian President said in an interview to “Izvestiya”.
“No one needs a meeting for the sake of meeting. For such a meeting, we need the basis of agreements. If the idea of such a meeting is on the agenda, work will be done and the basis will be created for arrangements that can be fixed at the highest level. There is no talk about this yet,” he said.
