Negotiations with Ukraine have made positive progress, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during talks with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko. RIA Novosti reported.
“I will definitely inform about the situation in Ukraine, first of all, how the negotiations are going now. They are now running almost daily. Our negotiators have informed me that there are some positive developments. I will tell you more about all this,” the head of state said.

It should be reminded that early in the morning on 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.
The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
