Ukraine will not yield in negotiations with the Russian Federation on issues of its territorial integrity, but will discuss the creation of humanitarian corridors, a ceasefire and a return to the situation before the start of Russia’s special operation. This was stated on Thursday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, TASS News Agency reported.

“We will not give in on things that are fundamental to us, such as the territorial integrity of Ukraine. This is out of the question,” he said in an interview with the 1+1 TV channel, which was broadcast on the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry. “Ukraine will work on the creation of humanitarian corridors in negotiations with the Russian Federation,” he said. “Of course, we are interested in a ceasefire, in returning the situation to the beginning of Russian aggression in terms of the presence of the Russian occupation forces.”

According to the minister, “now it is too early to predict what exactly will be achieved as a result of the negotiations, taking into account the positions of Russia that were announced.”

“Let’s wish our negotiators success. If Russia approaches these negotiations, as they say, in good faith, then it will be possible to find some solutions,” he concluded.

It should be reminded that in the early morning of 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a message announcing the decision to launch a special military operation in Donbas.

“Circumstances require us to take decisive and immediate action. The Donbas People’s Republics have appealed to Russia. I have decided to launch a special military operation in this regard,” Putin said in a televised address to Russian citizens.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that from 5:00 a.m. (7:00 a.m. Yerevan time) on Thursday, the Russian Armed Forces carried out intensive attacks on Ukrainian military facilities and airports.
