Azerbaijani media reports that the deputies of the Milli Mejlis will visit Yerevan to take part in the sittings of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which will take place on 22 February.

MPs, members of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Euronest PA Tair Mirkishil and Sultan Mammadov will attend the event.

The deputies will voice the position of the Azerbaijani side on the issues to be discussed at the meetings.

Earlier, the National Assembly announced that members of the parliaments of the Eastern Partnership countries and the European Parliament will take part in the sittings. The deputies of the European Parliament, as well as the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Ukraine and Georgia are planning to visit Yerevan.

The sittings of the Euronest Committees on Political Affairs, Human Rights, Democracy, Energy Security, Economic Integration, Legal Approximation and Convergence with EU Policies, Social Affairs, Employment, Education, Culture and Civil Society will be held on 22 February at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex in Yerevan.

The meetings of the Standing Committees will be broadcast online.
