Earlier it was reported that the protesters were trying to break into the city hall, they got into a fight with the police, beat the security officers, took their shields and helmets. The police use special equipment, include flashbang grenades.
At the same time, there is a state of emergency in Alma Ata: curfew has been imposed; mass events and strikes, the sale of weapons, ammunition and alcohol are prohibited.
