The Supreme Judicial Council nominated Hovsep Bedevyan, Hrach Ayvazyan and Liana Hakobyan for the vacant position of Judge of the Civil-Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation. Today, on 14 September, the issue of electing a court judge is being discussed in the National Assembly. The parliament will elect one of these three candidates.

Hovsep Bedevyan was the Chairman of the Administrative Court of Appeal. His term of office has already expired.

By the Presidential Decree of 14 July, 2021, Hrach Ayvazyan was appointed Chairman of the Administrative Court, whose candidacy was also nominated for the position of a judge of the Court of Cassation.

The third candidate is Liana Hakobyan, who was appointed a judge of the Administrative Court of Appeal on 24 June of this year.
