In September, PACE will publish a special report on the humanitarian consequences of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. To this end, the Irish Member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Paul Gavan will visit Azerbaijan from 26 to 28 July 2021 on a fact-finding mission.

The PACE statement says that Gavan will have meetings with the Speaker and deputies of the National Assembly of Azerbaijan, as well as with representatives of humanitarian organizations.

Earlier in May, the Irish MP visited Yerevan on a fact-finding mission.
