Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that he hopes that the Azerbaijani army will continue its attack on Nagorno Karabakh, RIA Novosti reported.
“I hope they will continue struggle until they liberates all their lands in Karabakh,” he said during a speech in Konya.
The live broadcast was made on Twitter.
It should be reminded that this is not Erdogan’s first belligerent statement. Speaking in the Turkish parliament on 1 October 1, he criticized the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Karabakh issue.
“The Minsk Group, consisting of the United States, Russia and France, has not been able to resolve the Karabakh issue for 30 years. And today it is trying to find a way to an armistice against the backdrop of negative events, and this is unacceptable.” Erdogan said in a speech.
The Turkish President stated that he had discussed the situation in Karabakh with the Presidents of the Russian Federation, the United States and France, “but to no avail.”
