Police continue to ensure implementation of the Requirements of Commandant’s Decision

Since the early morning on 19 May, police officers throughout the country have been carrying out their responsibilities under the emergency services at bus stops and through the mobile patrols to ensure the implementation of the requirement of the Commandant’s decision to prevent the spraed of the new Coronavirus.

The police are monitoring the number of passengers in the buses only in accordance to the number of seats. Notably, standing passengers can only be transport by vehicles longer than 9 meters. A distance of at least 1 meter must be maintained between standing passengers.

Police follow the existence of alcohol-based hand sanitizers installed at the entrances to all passenger vehicles so that passengers can disinfect their hands. Passengers and drivers must wear protective masks. Police officers remind both drivers and passengers that violations of safety rules will lead to liability under the law.

Dear citizens, strictly observe the safety rules. It is in our best interests.
