The RA Ministry of High Technological Industry announces that:

1. In the event of a state of emergency, the Ministry urges Armenian telecommunications operators, as well as their employees, to be responsible, to be guided by their obligations under the RA Law on the Legal Regime of the State of Emergency.
2. In response to the news about the acquisition of shares of “Veon Armenia” CJSC by “Ucom” CJSC, the The Ministry of High-Tech Industry did not agree to the process in accordance with the requirements of Article 14, Clause 7 of the RA Law on Electronic Communication and the issue is under discussion, research and analysis are being carried out.
3. Calls on the media not to unnecessarily exploit the situation, given the need for uninterrupted work of communication and telecommunications services in a state of emergency.
