The session of the Coronavirus Prevention Commission has just ended. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reports.
“With the results it was decided.
- Terminate land communications with the Islamic Republic of Iran for two weeks.
- Apply incomplete restrictions on air communication.
- Carry out cargo transportation with the Islamic Republic of Iran without restrictions, using a special control regime for drivers.
- Not to apply any restrictions for the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and the Islamic Republic of Iran to return to their homeland.
- Be in close communication with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for two weeks, complete information on the extent of coronavirus spread in Iran to further clarify.
- The Government shall soon adjourn the relevant decision, which shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
I consider it necessary to state that we have no cases of coronavirus infection in Armenia and I hope we will not. Armenia has all the necessary technical and professional resources for accurate diagnosis of coronavirus,” he said.
