Today, President Armen Sarkissian met with the US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy.
The parties exchanged views on issues related to cooperation in various fields between the Republic of Armenia and the United States. In particular, the implementation of joint projects on the latest technologies, especially in the area of artificial intelligence, was considered promising. In this context, the parties referred to the possible partnership within the ATOM Presidential Initiative on Technology and Science Development in Armenia, which aims to make Armenia a leading center in the field of artificial intelligence and mathematical modeling. They also spoke about cooperation within a number of presidential initiatives aimed at raising Armenia’s international reputation and growing interest in our country.
During the meeting the sides also exchanged views on the referendum on the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia to be held on 5 April.
