RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan released a statement saying:

“I want us all to start our work day with great news. We recently received the decision of the Board of Governors of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). I am pleased to inform you that Yerevan has been chosen as the venue for the EBRD 2021 Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting is the most important event of the Bank. That is, in the spring of 2021, Armenia will be in the focus of attention of 69 EBRD member states, as well as other guests. This is an important achievement and a worthy assessment of Armenia’s progress in both the political and economic spheres.

And from this moment on we are working to bring the event to the highest level.”
