The Constitutional Court has issued a Statement

Article 9 of the Constitutional Law of the Constitutional Court “Immunity of a Judge of the Constitutional Court” provides the requirements for actions in relation to a judge in criminal proceedings are carried out with the highest possible confidentiality of pre-proceeding proceedings, respect for the authority and independence of the judge and the judiciary, excluding any direct or indirect interference with the judge.

This is stated in the statement of the Constitutional Court.

“We urge the authorities to strictly observe the above-mentioned constitutional requirements in the course of criminal proceedings against the President of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan.

Regardless of the situation, we are working in the normal way, remaining faithful to the high rank of the Constitutional Court judge, continuing to uphold the rule of the Constitution by acting independently and impartially.
