According to DataLex Information System the case of the Ex-head and 12 employees of the RA Judicial Department is in the proceeding of the RA Criminal Court of Appeal.
The defenders of Gegham Grigoryan, Angin Ghukasyan, Misak Martirosyan and others have filed the appeal with a motion to annul the judgment and appoint a probation period, etc.
On 18 July, Judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative District Arshak Vardanyan announced the verdict on the case.
The Ex-Head of the department Misak Martirosyan was sentenced to 6 year imprisonment with the property confiscation for about AMD 720.000. The Prosecutor Hakob Melqonyan put a motion of the 14 years term. The beginning of the sentenced is considered to be November 14, 2013.
The first Deputy of the Judicial Department Gegham Grigoryan was also sentenced to 6 year imprisonment and was applied a fine for about AMD 600.000. The Prosecutor put a motion of 9 years term.
One of the first deputies Armen Movsisyan was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment but was granted amnesty in 2013.
