On 4 July, 2015 a Training of Trainers was organized for 6 active youngsters at the regional office of the “Armenian Young Lawyers Association” NGO in Kapan Region in the framework of the “Influencing Women`s Rights Agenda” Project which is organized with the financial support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Armenia.
The six trainees of Tot after the course will organize awareness seminars and actions on the women’s rights in the public places, organizations and local self government bodies.
The topic was “Women’s participation and the Best International l practices on gender quotas and other positive practice areas such as the local and state government bodies, Councils of Business Companies, the Judiciary System,” as well as Armenia`s international commitments and the practical ways for the enforcement of women`s rights.
After the training the young lawyers received corresponding materials, information leaflets, which they will use during organization and conducting the seminars.
