“We demand to undertake measures for the decrease in price of the electricity and not for its increase. We demand to solve the issue in favor of the people. We shall not pay even if the electricity is cut off,” with such demands the protest action against the raise of electricity price started.
The former employees of “Nairit” Plant joined the protesters as well. The Demonstrators made a number of statements in the Freedom Square.
After the action the participants started a March and passed through Abovyan Street.
“Come out into the street!” With this calls the protestors accompanied by the police marched through Abovyan Street to the Government building.
“This is violence against the people”, said the participants of the march.
