Ruben Baloyan, the advocate of the injured party in Vardan Petrosyan’s case informed Iravaban.net that the victims are likely to appeal the verdict. “The issue to file an appeal or not will be decided during the upcoming 10-15 days. It should be discussed with the parties,” the advocate said.
Referring to the fact that the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk marz did not take into consideration the victim’s representative civil claim the advocate said, “Some Judges consider others do not there is no precise practice in this regard.”
Ruben Baloyan, filed a civil claim on 17 December 2015, which required to exact 12 million 500 thousand drams from Vardan Petrosyan in favor of the victims.
