Today at the press conference which took place in the RA Ministry of Defense, Minister Seyran Ohanyan referred to the incident of shooting down the Armenian helicopter by the Azerbaijanian side and said that a service investigation was assigned, which resulted in dismissals.
In this regard the Press Secretary of the RA Ministry of Defense Artsrun Hovhannisyan told to IIravaban.net that the exact number of the dismissed military men as well as other circumstances referring the investigation were not to be made public. At the same time he stressed, “There is no need to look for guilty ones in the service investigation, because the it is the enemy, at the same time the service investigation is just a practice.”
The Armenian helicopter was shot down on 12 November 2014, on the border line of NKR and Azerbaijan, during the training flight.
