Today, the Armenian Young Lawyers Association and the Notary Chamber of the RA signed a Letter of Understanding. Henceforth the parties will join efforts to contribute to the improvement of quality and efficiency of services provided by notaries; promote to enhancing transparency and reporting of the notary system; raise the awareness level of the citizens on the sphere and legislation of the notary services; as well as assist to realization of legislative reforms in the sphere.
Notably, the information website iravaban.net operated by the AYLA, through implementation of the project “The Armenian Notaries” will continue activities aimed at raising the public confidence towards the Notaries Public and the notary activities. In addition the website will raise the public awareness by the “Public Notary Clarifies” heading, which is aimed at raising public awareness and the legislation of the sphere.
The Armenian Young Lawyers Association has been implementing monitoring of the Notary Offices in Armenia for already several years.
