Prime Minister takes office as a result of the parliamentary elections, the Government is formed by the Prime Minister and is accountable only to the National Assembly. This norm is provided in the draft version of the Constitutional Reforms’ Concept.
According to the draft the functional distribution of power between the three constituent bodies will be more distinct. The National Assembly, as a legislative body, will oversee the supreme executive authority – the Government, and the President of the Republic will supervise compliance of the executive and legislative authorities with the rules set forth in the Constitution.
