“The Traffic Police had fined on no Grounds:” the Traffic Police annulled the Case on Administrative Offense

“The Traffic Police had fined me on no grounds. I am an old driver. I know where the parking is allowed and where not. I was forced to stop. My car broke down. I was waiting for help,” Robert Poghosyan, a 70 years old driver told.
Robert Poghosyan is the employee of the “Armenian Young Lawyers Association” NGO, and the NGO staff members came to help him. The pushed the car and brought it to the crossroads of Pushkin-Nalbandyan-Abovyan streets, and from here the car was taken to the technical support station on an evacuator vehicle.
“I went to the Traffic Police and wrote an application telling how all that happened. After some time I received a reply telling that my application was met.” our interlocutor said.
A.Gharagyozyan and Z.Iskandaryan provided explanations about the incident at the Road Police. They had pushed the car from the crossroads of Pushkin-Abovyan streets and brought it to the broader part of the crossroads of Pushkin-Nalbandyan streets.
The decision of the Traffic Police states, “The video, which is the base for the decision of the Traffic Police shows that on 9 December 2013, the applicant’s car had stopped on the crossroads of Pushkin-Nalbandyan streets with the signal lights on. However the length of the video does not allow proving or disapproving the assertions of the applicant or the witnesses.”
Considering the above mentioned circumstances the Traffic Police annulled its own decision and dismissed the case on administrative offense.
