Motorcycles are parked without permission in “Khachkar Purak” near Aram Manukyan’s statue.

Iravaban.net approached the area to find out who owns them, but in vain. The Police told that the issue is not in their domain and that the Municipality should either give a permit for the parking of motorcycles or not.

When asked if there is a license for parking a motorcycle in that area, the Press Department of the Municipality clarified that they did not issue such a permit. “It is not regulated by law that is why we do not give any permission, the Police had to decide what to do with them. But we did not give permission in that regard, and in general we do not give permission for such things.”

Thus, it is not the only place in the city where owners of motorcycles and scooters park them without permission, especially in Kentron administrative district. However, the Police does not take steps to free the mentioned areas from them.
