Five members of a transnational organized crime group who were planning an assassination attempt on the country’s leadership were detained in Kyrgyzstan, the State Committee for National Security reported.
According to the special service, one of the detainees has the status of a so-called “vagrant” in the criminal world. Sputnik Kyrgyzstan reports with reference to the State Committee for National Security
“Their criminal plans arose against the backdrop of the fight against organized crime groups in Kyrgyzstan. This caused discontent among foreign criminal leaders,” the State Committee noted.
