The Republic of Maldives has asked India to withdraw Indian troops from the islands by 15 March, Abdullah Nazim Ibrahim, the Principal Secretary to President Muizzu on Public Policy said.

“Indian military cannot stay in Maldives. This is the policy of President Mohamed Muizzu and the current administration,” Ibrahim said.
