Arman Mkrtumyan is the Chairman of the Court of Cassation of the RA since 2008. Below is his biography.

Arman Mkrtumyan was born in Yerevan in 1960.

In 1984 he graduated from the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University.

From 1989 to 1996 he worked as the head of department in the Prosecutor’s Office of the RA.

From 1996 to 1998 he worked as the deputy head in the legal service of the National Assembly of the RA.

Since 1998 till 2008, he was the Chairman of Civil and Administrative Chamber of the Court of Cassation of the RA.

On 17 September 2008, Arman Mkrtumyan was appointed Chairman of the Court of Cassation of the RA by the decree of the RA President.

He was awarded the rank of honored lawyer of the RA by the President.

Arman Mkrtumyan is Doctor of Law.
