The President of Belarus, Aleksander Lukashenko, said that among the CIS countries, Armenia does not always behave like a partner.
Earlier, at the CIS summit in Bishkek, Lukashenko said that the West does not give up its attempts to “break the CIS countries in different directions”, weaken them and subordinate them to its interests. He called on the countries for unity and cooperation, stressing that only strength is respected in the modern world. In this regard, Lukashenko also recalled the times of the USSR, when “everyone was afraid of the Union”.
“First, Georgia left our association; de facto Ukraine is not with us. There are big questions about Moldova. Unfortunately, Armenia does not always behave like a partner,” Lukashenko said at the CIS summit in Bishkek.
Lukashenko emphasized that it is impossible to follow all this and not interfere. “Otherwise, we will simply be divided, and first of all, ordinary people, the people of our countries, will suffer, so we, the heads of states, must fulfill the will of our voters and at least fulfill and solve the problems we promised,” he said.
Lukashenko also noted that it is the current generation of politicians born and raised in the Soviet Union that should solve the problems facing the Commonwealth.
