Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian discussed the “3+3” format (Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Turkey) in a telephone conversation and expressed their support for the resumption of joint work on the South Caucasus in this format. The statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry stated.

“The ministers spoke in favor of the quick resumption of joint work within the framework of the “3+3″ consultative regional platform for the South Caucasus,” the department reports.

Let’s remind that yesterday RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Armenia is ready for meetings in the regional “3+3” format.
