Canada has already sent the first “Leopard 2” tank to Ukraine. Canadian Defense Minister Anita Anand writes on her Twitter social network.
According to her report, the first of the four tanks promised to Ukraine by the Canadian Government has already been sent from the Halifax airport.
“Canada stands by the people of Ukraine, and we will continue to provide the armed forces of Ukraine with the necessary equipment for victory,” wrote the Minister of Defense of Canada.
Canada sent a German “Leopard 2” tank to Ukraine after the German Government agreed to send tanks to Ukraine in late January and allowed third countries to supply them to Kiev.
