The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs has condemned the warnings of a number of countries, particularly the USA, regarding the urging of their citizens not to visit Turkey.
Recently, the US Embassy in Turkey urged its citizens not to travel to Turkey, as there is a possibility of terrorism there.
“According to the Embassy, churches, synagogues, diplomatic missions and other places frequently visited by citizens of Western countries ,can become targets of terrorist attacks. The risk of attacks is particularly high in places such as Beyoğlu district, Galata (Galatio) historical district, Istiklal Avenue and Taksim Square.
The US Embassy advises its citizens to refrain from visiting such places, avoid crowds on the streets and follow local media reports and information from diplomatic institutions.”
In response to this, the Turkish propaganda machine through the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs, trying to bring counter-arguments, reminded that attacks against the Koran are being carried out in Denmark and Sweden, to which the USA turns a blind eye, and Turkey, in turn, advised its citizens not to travel to the USA and Europe.
