On 17 January, a telephone conversation between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov took place, the Press Service of the Russian Foreign Ministry informs.

“The parties discussed a number of topical issues of the bilateral and regional agenda.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov emphasized the need to restore traffic along the Lachin Corridor as quickly as possible, in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the Trilateral Statement of 9 November, 2020.

The importance of reaching mutually acceptable solutions on related issues was also emphasized, in order to resume the systemic work on the key points of the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement process,” the message of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
