Another group of Russian servicemen was released from Ukrainian captivity, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports. RIA Novosti writes.
“On 8 January, as a result of the negotiation process, 50 Russian servicemen were returned from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime,” the report said.
It is noted that they were in mortal danger.
All will be transferred to Moscow for treatment. They are receiving psychological support.
This is the first exchange of prisoners since the beginning of the new year. Before this, the Ministry of Defense announced on 31 December about the return of prisoners, and 82 people were released.
