The Russian Peacekeeping Contingent continues to carry out tasks in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh, the statement of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation states.
It is noted that the Russian peacekeepers monitor the situation and the maintenance of the ceasefire regime around the clock at 30 observation posts.
“No violations were recorded in the area of responsibility of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent.
On 12 December, the Azerbaijani side closed the Stepanakert-Goris highway. The Command of the Russian Peacekeeping Contingent is negotiating with the representatives of Azerbaijan to resume the unimpeded movement of civilian vehicles on the Stepanakert-Goris road,” the statement said.
