Russia called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to refrain from steps that could lead to an increase in tension.
As reported by the TASS agency, in a conversation with journalists, Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, stated that the intention of Armenia and Azerbaijan to solve the problems exclusively through political-diplomatic, peaceful means was emphasized at the trilateral meeting held in Sochi.
“That’s why we call on the parties to refrain from dangerous actions and steps that can lead to tension on the contact line,” Peskov said, referring to the reports of ceasefire violations on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
