The damage caused by the natural disaster is being calculated in the Samegrelo region of Georgia.

Appropriate working groups are working in the municipality, and at the same time, the restoration of damaged infrastructures has started. In the morning, the roads are cleaned with special equipment. The population and infrastructure of Khobi, Tsalenjikha , Senaki, Abasha and Martvili were particularly affected by the disaster.

The first floors of residential houses were flooded, crops, household items were destroyed, domestic birds died.

Internal highways and bridges were especially damaged. Part of the population was left without electricity.
