A meeting of the UN Security Council (SC) on the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border is scheduled for September 14. This was reported to TASS on Tuesday by its source in the world organization.
“Yes, the discussion is scheduled for tomorrow,” the source said.
Earlier, Armenia sent a letter to France chairing the UN Security Council in September with a request to convene an emergency meeting.

The situation in some parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to be tense as of 18:00. The enemy is trying to secure a positional advance throughout the day, particularly in the direction of Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish and Sotk, using special purpose units. The RA Armed Forces continue to carry out the combat tasks set before them in full scope.
