The Azerbaijani Embassy in London was attacked by a group of unknown persons who committed acts of vandalism in the building. This was announced on Thursday by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic TASS News Agency reported.

“Having entered the embassy building, the attackers committed a series of acts of vandalism in the building, hung religious flags on the balcony, shouted radical religious slogans. The embassy employees were not injured,” the report says.

According to the diplomatic department, after the intervention of the police, the attackers were expelled from the embassy building and detained.
