Russia is determined to support the signing of a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan.  Maria Zakharova the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, stated referring to the issue of a possible peace treaty, TASS News Agency reports.

“The basic principles proposed by Baku for the establishment of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia” Yerevan’s response to them are intended to serve as a basis for starting negotiations on an Azerbaijani-Armenian peace treaty. “Russia is determined to support the signing of a peace treaty between Yerevan and Baku,” she said.
