The Russian government has submitted to the State Duma a draft law providing for the recognition in Russia of the national driver’s licenses of Armenian citizens in carrying out entrepreneurial and labor activities. The document was published in the Duma electronic database on Monday. TASS News Agency reports.
“The amendments provide for the recognition on the territory of the Russian Federation of national driver’s licenses of citizens of the Republic of Armenia in the implementation of entrepreneurial and labor activities related to driving vehicles,” the explanatory note says.
At present, such a procedure applies to citizens of Kyrgyzstan, citizens of countries whose legislation defines Russian as the official language.
