The spokesman for British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, speaking about the issue of paying for Russian gas in rubles, said that Britain does not intend to do this, according to Western media, RIA Novosti reported.
“That’s not what we intend to do,” a representative of the British prime minister said in response to a question about whether there are any circumstances under which the UK would pay for Russian gas in rubles.
The UK also said that they are monitoring the possible consequences for the European market of the requirements of the Russian Federation for payment in rubles.
