The armed forces liberated Lukyanovka near Kiev, destroyed the Russian base, killed 40 invaders, and are looking for others, Ukrainian Pravda reports.

It is noted that the Ukrainian army has achieved some success in repelling the Russian army from around Kiev.

It was such a stronghold of the invaders. There were several hundred soldiers, tanks and equipment. The equipment was burned, tanks were knocked out, and some equipment was taken as a trophy.

It is stated that the death of 40 Russian servicemen has been confirmed, the others are being searched in the forest. Our military is now looking for them and trying to destroy them where they find them.

It should be reminded that early in the morning of 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.

The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
