Russian troops are fighting for Novomikhaylovka, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said, RIA Novosti reported.

“Russian armed forces continue to destroy the 54th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Currently, they are fighting to seize the settlement of Novomikhaylovka,” the Major General said.

Ukrainian troops have repeatedly fired on the village.

It should be reminded that early in the morning of 24 February; Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.
