The armed forces of Ukraine destroyed about 14,700 Russian servicemen. 74 multiple launch rocket systems, 96 aircraft. The General Staff of Ukraine reported, Ukrainskaya Prawda informs.
“In the period from 24 February to 20 March, the total combat losses of the enemy are:
- personnel – about 14,700 people,
- tanks – 476 units,
- armored combat vehicles – 1487 units,
- artillery systems – 230 units,
- MLRS – 74 units,
- air defense systems – 44 units,
- aircraft – 96 units,
- helicopters – 118 units,
- automotive equipment – 947 units,
- ships / boats – 3 units,
- tanks with fuel and lubricants – 60,
- UAV operational-tactical level – 21.
- Special equipment – 12.”
The message spread by the department states.
It should be reminded that early in the morning of 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.
The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
