“Operational-tactical, army and unmanned aircraft hit 54 military facilities of Ukraine. Among them: three command posts, four installations of multiple launch rocket systems, four ammunition depots and 44 places where military equipment accumulates,” Konashenkov said at a briefing RIA Novosti reports.
Besides, according to him, during the day the Russian air defense systems shot down one Ukrainian drone in the air.
Since the beginning of the special operation, the Russian Armed Forces have destroyed 1412 Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov told reporters on Friday.
It should be reminded that on the morning of 24 February, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation in Ukraine, aimed at ensuring the security of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics, as well as removing the “Nazi regime” in Ukraine.
The United States and the European Union have described Russia’s move as a direct aggression by Russia against Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
The Verkhovna Rada has declared martial law in Ukraine.
