The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine charged Margarita Simonyan, Editor-in-Chief of Radio Sputnik, Rossiya Segodnya and RT, and a Ukrainian court issued a decision on her arrest in absentia. RIA Novosti reported, citing Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova.
The Prosecutor General added that in the near future she would initiate the process of putting Simonyan on the international wanted list.
