Donetsk armed forces liberated the city of Volnovakha. The statement came from a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov, TASS News Agency reported.
“A group of troops from the Donetsk People’s Republic liberated the city of Volnovakha, took control of the settlements of Olginka, Veliko-Anadol, Zeleny Guy, and advanced to a depth of 6 km,” he said.
According to him, the total progress from the eastern, northern-western directions was up to 800 m.
“The units of the Russian Armed Forces, continuing the offensive operations, advanced 17 km,” Konashenkov said.
Konashenkov said that the Russian armed forces had hit two Ukrainian military airfields with long-range precision weapons.
