Representative of the President in the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Fedir Venislavsky, said that the talks between the Ukrainian delegation and the “Russians” would begin in a few hours, as it would take longer than expected to reach the border with Belarus, Украинская Правда reports.

“For security reasons, the route has been changed (to the border with Belarus), so I think the talks will start in the next few hours,” he said.

Venislavsky found it difficult to name the composition of the delegation. He thinks that by the end of the day there will be complete information about the starting positions and the results of the negotiations.

Venislavsky added that the Belarusians will also take part in the talks, but as an observer.

Russian representatives have been sent to the talks with Ukraine to resolve the situation, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. The ministry has denied reports in the Ukrainian media that the meeting in Gomel has already begun.
